Managed Services utilizes electronic ‘agents’ which are loaded on the computers or servers you choose. They monitor tasks, exceptions, security, files, alerts and more.

You choose what you want to have ‘managed’ by the agents and who receives the alerts (ie. DAMOMICS, You, Multiple People etc). 

Woven into a DAMOMICS Support Contract, Managed Services can ensure that you are way ahead of any issues that may arise in your Point of Sale system or your regular network and servers. As soon as something happens, DAMOMICS Engineers will be on the case. In most instances you will be advised after something has all ready been repaired.

  • File Sizes Approaching Limits
    • Files about 2GB cannot be handled by CP Utilities and run slower.
  • System Error Logs
    • Watches for CP logging of file errors, user exceptions, uses of file utilities.
  • Multi-Site Errors
    • Monitors both communication and data import errors
  • Settlement Errors
    • Insures that this file is transmitted daily
  • Offline Ticket Updates
    • Checks that offline data is created nightly

Security Agents:

  • USB Memory Stick Usage
    • Monitor the use/misuse of removable devices (someone could copy your data - customer files)
  • Anti-Virus Monitoring
    • Watches CPU services and checks that the virus definitions are up to date.
  • New Programs Installed
    • Scans new software / program installs. (Know what is installed on your systems)
